Kumamoto Earthquakes, production delays and no promotional activity for Nikon

The Nikon Corporation has today issued a public statement to communicate a number of product development delays.  More importantly however, the announcement also confirms that the recent devastating earthquakes that have continued to strike the south-west Japanese island of Kyushu with such tragic human consequences, are also having an ongoing impact on the operational capabilities of many component manufacturers.

As it is not clear at this stage, what the extent of the impacts will be, Nikon has taken the decision to proactively protect their supply capability by immediately adjusting all planned promotional and marketing activities.

Within the UK, we regret to confirm that the following planned promotional activities will be delayed until further notice:

·         Summer 2016 Cash-back (Originally 26th May – 31st August 2016)

·         Spring Bank Holiday Free D-SLR Accessory Kit Offer (Originally 26th May – 1st June 2016)

·         D750 & D810 Trade-In – no further extension past 30th April 2016

With the £150 D750 and £350 D810 trade in offer ending soon with no extension possible and no further planned promotional activity from Nikon at all, now is certainly the best time to buy a D750 or D810.
